  1. Hi, I'm virtualmir. Do not include my mesh in the package. In fact, you shouldn't share texture re-color. I didn't allow it. Have you read the Terms of Use?

    1. Hi, I respect your creations and your whole site (I state original artist name, file name and direct link to parent website for each creator) but every a new mesh was created based on EA mesh and for game owned by EA. So even the new meshes belong to EA and they say nothing about "don´t include mesh". In sims 3 times were meshes automatically included and nobody say nothing. Plus many sites are delete from time to time and then recolors / retextures are absolutely useless. Sorry for inconviences.

  2. Thank you for your quick reply. But you are wrong about one thing.
All my meshes have nothing to do with EA.
I didn't use EA mesh as the default, and neither did the texture.

The hair mesh I made didn't include EA's mesh at all.
EA's ownership is only when the original mesh of EA is modified or the texture is modified.

EA talking about whether or not to include mesh is a different kind of thing from me, the original creator. They don't care if they include a mesh, but I don't. It's up to me because I own this mesh.

The problem is that by including other creator's meshes in the package and sharing them without permission, the benefits go to other people than the original creator.

Therefore, you should not include a mesh unless you make it yourself. The same principle applies not only to my work but also to other creators' works.

And in principle, I only allow re-coloring for personal use and not sharing. I acknowledge your hard work. Your hair color is beautiful enough. Please abide by my conditions next time. ;-)

    1. In order to export a mesh to sims 4, you must clone some default file from sims 4 (I don't remember how it is in the case male hairstyle but for female hairstyle is most often "long rocker" hairstyle used) so at the beginning you use a mesh from EA, from which you then make a mesh new, which means that you have created a new mesh based on a mesh from EA. (I'm tangled in a sentence, I hope it makes sense).

Lots of simmers talking about their TOU, but is it OK EA don´t allowing locking sims files behind pay walls and there is many artists violetes EA rules? Is it OK other artists make a LOT of money on conversions from SL or IMVU? Converting hairstyles without original artist mention (often hair by Peggy) or make a money by mixing meshes from other artist? And etc. Sims community is big mess.

I don´t use Adfly or Patreon. I have only ads on my website but I have a MAXIMUM of 0.19 euros by day from it. I always give the original artist in the description and direct link to site or original file. Because I don't want to claim that I'm the original creator. Really no. Sorry for inconviences again.
